The Nursing Program incorporates various methods of instruction to meet the needs of working Registered Nurses who have a variety of learning styles, work schedules, and personal commitments. Methods of instruction will include:
  • Two-to-three face-to-face meetings per quarter at the Palm Desert campus.
  • All course materials will be available online via the Internet, using BlackBoard course management software.
  • Interactive adult learning theory is incorporated into the hybrid online environment.
  • Clinical experiences will occur through the use of experienced preceptors in your community.
