Special Education

The Master of Arts and Preliminary and Professional Credential programs in Special Education, Mild/Moderate Disabilities (autism certificate is infused in the program) are scheduled to begin at the Palm Desert Campus Fall 2013. Pre-requisites will be offered Spring 2013. The credential program is a three quarter long program.

Before being fully admitted to the Special Education Programs, prospective students must attend an orientation at the Palm Desert Campus or the San Bernardino campus. Orientation for PDC will commence in Fall 2012. Check the PDC home page for upcoming meetings.

Students who have completed completed their credential coursework must apply for their Credential. Current instructions are available at the CSUSB College of Education Credential Processing webpage.

Note that there is an additional application for the Level II/Clear credential program once the preliminary credential has been filed.
