The information technology team provides hardware and software technical support for Administrative and Academic Computing. The IT team supports Microsoft applications, SIS+, SPSS, Email accounts (Eudora).

Students working on Nova Computer Stations

  • A set of standard software (Microsoft office 2003, SIS+, SPSS, Eudora, Meeting Maker, etc. are pre-configured in all the staff and faculty computers.

  • As faculty and staff of CSUSB you are eligible to access the University's computer network and receive an email account and a meeting maker (the electronic calendar) account.

  • Email accounts
    An email account will give you access to CSUSB and PDC wireless network system. Without a CSUSB email account your access to wireless network is denied.

  • A meeting maker account will give you access to the campus electronic calendar. You can check faculty and staff calendar and propose meeting.

  • Software Access
    The Anti-virus software (Innoculate IT), Microsoft Office Application and other software are availabe at low cost to the faculty and staff member of CSUSB community for home use.

  • If you need assistance in accessing software and hardware please contact CSUSB helpdesk. The helpdesk provides a variety of technical support both hardware and software for students, faculty and staff members of the University. Technical training workshops are offered through academic computing and media. We can broadcast the classes to PDC.
