We are excited to bring you our fourth year of Pops! at the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus Indian Wells Theater. Below you will see our line up offering four different monthly shows beginning in December. The box office is open, call 760-341-6909. Individual tickets are $50 per show. Purchase season tickets and save 20%. All four shows are $160 if purchased by December 1.

Afternoon with Yve Evans and the All Star Big Band

Join us and the timeless music of Count Basie — from his haunting “April in Paris” to the high-energy “One O’clock Jump.” Big Band Swing comes to the Indian Wells Theater where we transport you back to 1966 The Sands Hotel with Count Basie and his orchestra. Basie once said “If you can't tap your foot or snap your fingers to my band, then we need to change what we are doing.” The All Star Big Band will play many well-known favorites, including "Basie Straight Ahead,” "Shiny Stockings," "Li'l Darlin'," "Jumpin' at the Woodside," "All Of Me" and a variety of other arrangements that demonstrate the breadth of the Basie band history. Vocalist Yve Evans will sing classic Basie vocals with the Count Basie Orchestra songs of Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday.
