Indian Wells Theater

The Indian Wells Theater is a 300-seat professional performing arts theater that offers comfortable seating in an intimate and inviting setting. Excellent acoustics and sightlines, high production values, first-class amenities, helpful staff and affordable rental rates make the theater an ideal venue for live performances and large assemblies.

The theater is ideally suited to accommodate opera, ballet, orchestral music, plays, comedy, meetings, and lectures... virtually any popular entertainment event. The theater has showcased the performances of world renowned talents, as well as local school drama clubs, orchestras, bands, dance companies and choral groups.

While its primary purpose is for University instruction, and University sponsored and co-sponsored events, it is also available for rental. From the bedside to the board room, this film explores the complex, exciting and challenging world of being a nurse; the many different roles that nurses play and the realities of nursing -- its joys and sorrows -- and the many ways that nurses impact the lives of others.

The concert will be a presentation of his musical compositions for films and concert. Two concert compositions by Marx will be performed by a Los Angeles String Ensemble conducted by Gary Berkson. “Fantasy for Piano & Strings” will feature College of the Desert faculty member and pianist Dan Waddell. The program also includes introductions, narrative and anecdotes by Marx.
