Our rental facilities are an alternative to high-priced hotel conference rooms. We offer campus classrooms, computer labs, science labs, conference rooms, patios, a large auditorium, and a theater for rental to groups on an hourly, daily, or long term basis. The CSUSB Palm Desert Campus coworking space will further our campus goal of continuing to seek collaborative partnerships to integrate educational, cultural, social, technological and economic life with the region, while striving to meet critical regional and state needs and provide responsible and creative leadership for the future. Coworking is a community driven concept, it provides an alternative to working at home, and it provides an opportunity to share ideas with other coworking participants. The people who are involved in coworking shape the space into what they need and want from it. The Indian Wells Theater is a 300-seat professional performing arts center that offers comfortable seating in an intimate and inviting setting. Excellent acoustics and sightlines, high production values, first-class amenities, helpful staff and affordable rental rates make the theater an ideal venue for live performances and large assemblies.
The theater is ideally suited to accommodate a wide range of performances, including opera, ballet, orchestral music, plays, comedy, meetings and lectures. The theater has showcased the performances of world-renowned talents, as well as local school drama clubs, orchestras, bands, dance companies and choral groups.
We offer tours of the campus every Friday at 10 am or by appointment. Tours of the entire campus take about 45 minutes and include the four buildings, campus history, information about technology, our commitment to the environment (particularly the LEED Gold certified Health Science building) and planned future growth.
