Over 60 Fee Waiver Program
Palm Desert Campus of Cal State San Bernardino will offer its Over 60 Fee Waiver Program each quarter.  The Palm Desert Campus is still accepting applications for those who are over 60 and wish to attend university classes at a nominal fee.

The University has offered this program to a limited number of California residents since January of 1980. Under the current program, student services and application fees are waived for persons 60 years of age or more. The approximate cost per quarter is $11.00.

According to PDC Associate Dean Cynthia Flores, “Coachella Valley adults have the opportunity to be engaged in formal and informal learning experiences for both personal and professional growth. Our courses cover theory, research, information, and best practices over a variety of disciplines. We support lifelong learning at PDC.”

Classes range from “Life in the Cosmos” to “Analysis of Poetry.” Interested persons can also consider taking classes in theater arts, history and criminal justice. Potential applicants are encouraged to enroll as soon as the over 60-registration date arrives, as the program is offered on a space-available basis.

For more information on the program or how to enroll please contact the Admissions office at the Palm Desert Campus at 760 341-2883.
