TRYING

By by Joanna Glass

March 5-14, 2010

Harold Gould, star of Broadway (Fools, Artist Descending a Staircase), film (The Sting, Patch Adams) and television (Maude, The Golden Girls) and Broadway’s Cindy Robinson (Peter Pan, Carousel, Into the Woods) star in this story of Francis Biddle, attorney general under FDR and chief judge of the Nuremberg trials, who at 81, is trying to put his life together. Elegant, but sharply cantankerous, he struggles with the inevitability of his age and failing health. His wife forces upon him a new, young secretary, and  the two struggle to find a way to communicate. This richly scripted story illustrates how two strangers, at two dramatically different places in their lives, can unexpectedly and forever influence each other.

Starring Olympic gold medalist Greg Louganis (Film: Watercolors, Touch Me; Off Broadway: Jeffrey, The Only Thing Worse You Could Have Told Me) and Teresa Ganzel (The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, The Toy, Horton Hears a Who, Viagara Falls).
