- Want
to be a contestant for The Second
Coachella Valley Grammar Bee, a
60-minute TV show being produced for
KCET by a group of California State
University San Bernardino Palm Desert
Campus students?

- The
top winner will receive a $5,000
scholarship to CSUSB Palm Desert.

- Fern
Field, EMMY-winning television producer,
whose most recent credits include five
seasons of the hit USA series “MONK” and
Artist-in-Residence at the Palm Desert
campus, is leading a group of student
production interns in creating the
special, to be shot at the Indian Wells
Theatre on campus this October.

- High
school sophomores, juniors and seniors
can apply to be contestants. During the
course of the Special students will be
asked to answer questions on grammar,
punctuation, usage and style in a
fast-paced game show format.
