Scholarships

There are two nursing programs situated on the Palm Desert Campus.
  • An RN to BSN program for working registered nurses who want to pursue a Bachelor of Science in nursing degree while on the job.
  • A traditional 4-year Bachelor of Science in nursing program offered in partnership with College of the Desert.  Students complete their prerequisite and lower-division courses at College of the Desert and their nursing and upper-division courses at the Palm Desert Campus.  Students graduate with BSN degree from California State University, San Bernardino.
  •
    Nursing Students at Work
It costs approximately $16,000 a year to educate one nurse.  State support and the fees that students pay total about $7,000 per student, leaving an unfunded balance of $9,000 a year per student.  We ask our friends and neighbors in the Coachella Valley to help us sustain our nursing programs—programs that are sorely needed to address the Valley’s nursing shortage.
