Program Overview:
The Special Education Program prepares teachers to meet the needs and challenges of the Inland Empire Region includes the low desert and high desert.
 
This region, which is larger than some states, has experienced teacher shortages of crisis proportion. Students at CSUSB are trained to meet the needs of all students and their families who may be diverse not only in cultural heritage but also in cognitive, physical, sensory, emotional, and behavioral skills.
